A candlelight vigil is scheduled and a GoFundMe site has been established in memory of three sisters who died in a traffic collision.
Emalynn, Olivia and Giana Perez died along with their mother in the crash, which occurred July 12 during a vacation through several states. There were no survivors in the accident, which has stunned local friends and family members of the family.
A candlelight vigil is planned for July 24 at 7 p.m. at Centennial Park, 3116 Shirehorse Way in Menifee. The announcement was made by Menifee Girls Softball, of which the girls were participants.
“Shy in nature, all three girls came to life on the softball field as they were surrounded by family, friends, and teammates on both sides of the fence,” the softball league posted on Facebook. “They will be deeply missed by everyone.
“The Menifee Girls Softball family extends our condolences to the Perez family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Further details will be provided as soon as they are made available by the family.”
A GoFundMe site established for the family had raised more than $15,000 as of Friday afternoon. Those who wish to donation may visit the GoFundMe website here.
