Chef Rosie is back – with an intimate new twist on her familiar culinary experience.
Menifee residents will remember Chef Rosie O’Connor as an award-winning chef, TV personality, public speaker and owner of the former Provecho Grill restaurant in the Sun City community in Menifee. Today she is the owner and operator of Lady M Bistro Restaurant & Wine Bar, also located in the Stater Bros. Plaza in Sun City.
Lady M Bistro is offering a variety of dining choices, a great selection of wine and craft beer, and catering services. Chef Rosie also provides cooking lessons and will soon offer online subscriptions to her services.
“It’s a smaller, more intimate venue,” Chef Rosie said about the bistro, located at 27192-F Sun City Blvd. “It was a better platform for us moving forward in the economy, and we brought the best of Provecho with us. We learned through trial by fire what worked for us, and we became part of the community. This is such a special place.”
Customers will find some classic Provecho Grill items alongside amazing new offerings, including the Kitchen Burger, Slow Braised Short Rib, and Pasta Fioro.
Lady M Bistro has become an entertainment destination with Karaoke Wednesdays, Live Music Thursday through Sunday, and special events every Tuesday. The July 2 event is a Live Comedy and Dinner, featuring Edwonda White and KAWmedy entertainment, with Matt Stanton, Peter Marshall and Ben Mastracco. This is great news! Provecho was the best restaurant, bar none, in the Menifee/Sun City area and although we have relocated to El Dorado County, this is worthy of a trip south. So many family milestones were celebrated at Provecho that we did mourn it's cIosure. Hopefully everyone realizes how important it is to support local, family owned businesses and get's behind Lady M Bistro.
