On Thursday, April 18, Temecula Valley Charter School celebrated 30 years of being "A School Family for Your Family" with a Student Art Show, Show Choir performance, great food booths, an auction and helicopter containing the school mascot Courage the Cougar landing on the soccer field. Over 700 students, families and community members stepped onto campus to enjoy walking through classrooms and celebrating student achievement and ingenuity. Dr. Charity Hennings, Executive Director, greeted the gathering and thanked families for being a part of TVCS. Jen Wiersma, TVUSD board member, also welcomed the audience and acknowledged the unique giftedness and innovative programs that make Temecula Valley Charter School unique.
