The Menifee City Council presented a proclamation to the Menifee Senior Advisory Committee on Wednesday in honor of May being Older Americans Month. The committee, chaired by Gloria Sanchez, does a lot for senior citizens in the community and the region. Also honored was Ken Wright, a 100-year-old World War II veteran. Proclamations were also presented from the offices of Congressman Ken Calvert, Senator Kelly Seyarto and Assemblyman Bill Essayli.
