MENIFEE – The City of Menifee is excited to invite the community to experience the “Park After Dark” series offering free movies, live music, family-friendly activities, and more this summer season. Events include:
Menifee Moonlight Markets: Bring your friends and family for a free, fun Friday night filled with themed activities, a live concert, and local craft and food vendors. Each market will feature a unique theme and musical performance. Upcoming dates are listed below:
-- “Rock N Roll” theme featuring the Journey Through Time Band. Friday, May 31 at Centennial Park (30268 Civic Plaza Drive).
-- “Around the World” theme featuring El Pachuco Band. Friday, June 14 at La Ladera Park (29629 La Ladera Road).
Movies in the Park/Go Skate Day: Movies in the Park start at 7 p.m. and are free to all ages! Bring a blanket or chairs and enjoy popular new flicks under the stars! The community will have an opportunity to vote for their favorite movie and voting will close one week before each event. To vote for the movie, please visit www.cityofmenifee.us/specialevents. Upcoming dates are listed below:
Friday, June 21 – Audie Murphy Ranch Sports Park (30376 Lone Pine Drive).
Friday, July 19 – Underwood Park (28251 Rouse Road).
This year, Go Skate Day will be held in coordination with the Movies in the Park on Friday, June 21 at the Audie Murphy Ranch Skate Park. Free skating will be available at the skate park from noon to 8 p.m. Food vendors will be onsite from 4-8 p.m. with the movie starting at dusk.
