The Menifee Planning Commission on June 12 will conduct a public hearing to consider plans for a hotel on the east side of the 215 Freeway in Menifee.
The 4-story, 65,463-square-foot hotel would include 106 rooms. It would be located to the south of Living Spaces in the area between Antelope Road and the freeway. The approximately 2-acre site has partial improvements consisting of an overflow parking lot and associated landscaping.
The project site is part of the Menifee Village Specific Plan. A conditional use permit would be required because the maximum height allowed is 35 feet and the plan proposes a maximum height of approximately 54 feet. The project proposes 106 parking spaces, 46 of which are located within the existing shopping center project site via reciprocal parking.
Any person wishing to comment on the proposed project may do so in writing before the public hearing and be heard at the meeting, to be held June 12 at 6 p.m. at City Hall, 29844 Haun Road in Menifee. All such comments will be submitted to the Planning Commission, and the Planning Commission will consider such comments, in addition to any oral testimony, before making a decision on the proposed project.
