The public is invited to provide input on a proposed community center planned for a vacant lot adjacent to the Menifee Library.
The facility, to be approximately 20,000 square feet, will be built on land given to the City of Menifee by Riverside County. It was previously used as overflow parking for various events held across the street at Wheatfield Park.
Potential considerations for the facility include multi-use meeting rooms; banquet rooms; indoor recreation and fitness space; public art displays; and passive outdoor amenities.
A meeting to receive input will be held on April 25 at 4:30 p.m. at the Menifee Library. For more information, contact the Community Services Department at 951-723-3880 or visit www.cityofmenifee.us/projects. You can also take an online survey here.
