A public hearing will be held May 8 before the Menifee Planning Commission to address a proposal to widen a stretch of McCall Boulevard east of the 215 Freeway.
The project would widen from two lanes to four lanes a three-quarter-mile stretch of the road between Menifee Road and Oak Hurst Avenue (near Menifee Global Medical Center). According to a city document, the project would install traffic signals, street lighting, sidewalks, curb and gutter, ADA ramps, and a retaining wall.
The Planning Commission meeting will begin at 6 p.m. on May 8. Any person wishing to comment on the proposed project may do so in writing between the date of this notice and the public hearing and may also speak at the public hearing.
