Longtime Menifee resident Linda Morris passes away

We lost a beautiful soul recently in Linda Morris. She lived in Menifee for 17 years. You will be dearly missed, Momma.

Linda Morris was born on March 27, 1947 in Escondido. She moved to Menifee in 2006 and passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 17, 2023. She is survived by her son, Jeff (Tanya), and daughters Kris and Karyn (Anne). Linda had six grandchildren: Tiahna, Alexcis, Sierra, Tre, Kaya and Jules. She also had three great-grandchildren: Jaeden, Ahlani and Khamila.

Linda was a supportive and loving mom. She was a football fan at heart and a softball coach by trade for many years. Her laugh was unforgettable and contagious. She will be dearly missed.

A memorial will be held at 1 p.m. on Jan. 6, 2024, at Evans-Brown Mortuary, 27010 Encanto Drive, Menifee. A small repast will take place in the reception area from 2-5 p.m. following services.
