Former Heritage High School star athlete Alexcis Morris was recently named California Pacific Conference Player of the Year for her efforts with the women’s volleyball team at the University of St. Katherine in San Marcos.

Morris also was named to the All-Conference and All-Region first teams of NAIA. She helped lead the team to a 30-5 record and its first appearance in the national tournament.

A senior, Morris had a team-high .407 hitting percentage and 234 kills this season. The middle blocker also finished with 129 total blocks and 1.21 blocks per set, ranking 13th nationally.
