The Liberty High School girls volleyball team will play host to Rosemead Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the first round of the CIF State Regional playoffs.

The Bison were selected based on their performance in the recent CIF Southern Section playoffs. Liberty advanced to the semifinals in Division 8 before losing to eventual champion Temecula Prep.

Liberty has won eight of its last 10 matches en route to a 15-11 overall record. Rosemead is 17-4 overall, having lost to Moreno Valley in the Southern Section championship match in Division 9.
