Temescal Canyon spoils Heritage Homecoming with 21-3 win

Visiting Temescal Canyon High scored single touchdowns in each of the last three quarters Friday night for a 21-3 victory over Heritage, spoiling the Patriots’ Homecoming and dropping the home team to 0-8 this season.

The Patriots’ only lead came on a field goal in the opening minutes. After that, Temescal Canyon took over. They scored on a pass in the second quarter, on a 1-yard run in the third quarter, and on a 7-yard pass in the fourth quarter to put the game away.

Heritage, which is 0-3 in the Ivy League, plays host to Orange Vista next Thursday,
