Santa Rosa Academy jumped out to a 30-7 halftime lead and cruised to a 52-7 victory Thursday night over California Military Institute of Perris in a nonleague football game.

The game was still close, Santa Rosa leading 8-0, in the second quarter when the Rangers put two rushing touchdowns and a passing touchdown on the board, limiting CMI to just a touchdown. In the third quarter, the Rangers scored two more TDs on rushing plays to put the game out of reach.

Santa Rosa is now 3-1 overall and will play host to Capistrano Valley Christian next Friday.
