The California Highway Patrol is looking for the suspect in a hit-and-run collision that killed a Menifee resident on Saturday.
Donald Berg Jr., 63 and a resident of the Sun City community, was riding his 2007 Yamaha V-Star northbound on the 15 Freeway just north of Railroad Canyon Road in the No. 2 lane at 2:32 a.m., according to a CHP press release. A vehicle in the same lane approached at an undetermined speed and struck the rear of the motorcycle.
The rider was ejected onto the roadway and suffered fatal injuries.
