Annual Dog Daze event scheduled for Oct. 7

One of the most enjoyable events of the Halloween season is the annual Dog Daze costume contest, which will be held Oct. 7 at Aldergate Dog Park in Menifee.

Sponsored by Valley-Wide Recreation & Park District, Dog Daze gives residents the opportunity to show off their dog for the chance to win prizes. Trophies will be handed out in several categories: Cutest, Scariest, Best, Judges' Choice, and Best Human/Pet costumes.
