Menifee man accused of sexual assault of minor

A Menifee man was arrested Friday on multiple charges of sexual assault of a minor, authorities said.

Kole Scully-Mims, 23, was arrested Friday after an investigation into allegations of sexual assault of a minor on several occasions in Lake Elsinore and Menifee, according to a Sheriff’s Dept. news release. The original report was filed in July.

Scully-Mims was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta and is being held with bail set at $1 million. He faces four felony counts and is scheduled for an Aug. 8 court date.
