Local AYSO 16U team competes in Hawaii tournament

An AYSO 16U select soccer team from Menifee recently competed in the 2023 Rainbow Tournament at Waipi’o Peninsula Soccer Stadium in Hawaii.

The team played five games in three days and won one game against teams as old as 19U. The team is coached by Juan Aranda, Tom Valdez and Saro N Noushing Gagossian. The Menifee team also brought along its own group of referees: Jennifer Woods, Jason Jimenez and Angie Stack, who also served as team manager.
