Folklorico dance group wins multiple awards

Folklorico Bailes de Mi Tierra, a folklore group that meets at Marion V. Ashley Community Center, represented Menifee well on Saturday. The youth girls won first place in the San Diego Dance Competition hosted by Tierra Caliente Academy of Arts.

On Sunday, with their youngest performer age 3 to adults, they performed before a large crowd at the San Diego County Fair. And on Tuesday, they took first place at the Nuevo Small Town Parade.
