Gale Webb, for whom the City of Menifee’s pump track is named, was honored this week by Assemblyman Bill Essayli as the Woman of the Year in his district.
Webb was recognized Wednesday night at the City Council meeting. She is instrumental in using her team’s skill in bicycle tricks and maneuvers as inspiration for young people. Her motto is “Kids are No. 1.”
The Gale Webb Kids-R #1 Action Sports Park opened in southwest Menifee on Nov. 5. The 6-acre park with hills and jumps is the largest of its kind in California and is widely used by youth in the area.
