The Menifee Planning Commission on Wednesday approved the plot plan for a housing development of 96 lots on a 28-acre site in the northwest part of the city.

Wednesday’s approval also declares that there is no significant impact on the environment. The area is bordered by Troy Lane to the north and west, and Byers Road to the east. The development is east of the Cimarron Ridge development and is bisected in one corner by Valley Boulevard.

Size of lots range from a minimum of 7,200 square feet to a maximum of 11,544 square feet, according to senior planner Brett Hamilton. The project will include a 1.25-acre park and a walking trail on the perimeter of the property.
