Public notice from the City of Menifee:
Pursuant to Government Code Section 54974(a), notice is being given that a vacancy exists on the Quality of Life Measure DD Oversight Committee effective May 30, 2023. Interested persons can apply to fill the vacancy in the Office of the City Clerk. Applications will be accepted until July 27, 2023, at 5 p.m. Appointment to the Committee is expected to take place on or after Sept. 6, 2023.

The position will require attendance at two regularly scheduled meetings per year and other special meetings as called, and the eligibility will require that the person must be a current City resident residing within District 2, a registered voter, and cannot be a member of any other City commission, City office or a City employee. The individual selected to serve will take an oath and agree to an Ethics Code. The term of office will end Dec. 2024.
