Tyler Kaewpalug drove in five runs and pitched four innings for the victory Monday as the Santa Rosa Academy baseball team defeated Temecula Prep, 19-8.

Kaewpalug (left) went 3 for 4 at the plate with a home run for the Rangers, who improved their record to 2-1. On the mound, he struck out eight and allowed four runs before giving way to Andrew Hopper, who gave up four runs in two innings.

Kyzer Metz went 3 for 4 with a double and triple and Sam Torres went 3 for 4 for SRA. The Rangers scored in every inning but the first.
