Dr. Erika Tejeda, principal of Liberty High School, has been selected as Principal of the Year by the Association of California School Administrators. Tejeda was selected from a field of administrators at more than 4,000 high schools in the state.
“We are very happy for Erika and her family,” said Grant Bennett, superintendent of the Perris Union High School District. “She is the first principal from the PUHSD to be honored with this award. Erika has done an outstanding job in opening Liberty and the recognition is well deserved. We are proud to have her leading the Bison Herd!”
Tejeda will be recognized for the award at ACSA's State Conference in November.
