Joseph Carrillo wins gold medal at two Taekwondo events

Santa Rosa Academy student Joseph Carrillo recently won a gold medal at two international competitions for Taekwondo in the junior (51 kg) category.

Joseph won at the Pan Am Series Costa Rica, which earned him a wild card entry into the Pan American Championship in the Dominican Republic in April. He also won gold at the U.S. Open, one of the largest competitions in the world.
