Heritage pounds out 15 hits, allows none in 14-0 win

Sydney Farmer hit two home runs while Tara Skinner and Presley Vasquez combined on a no-hitter Tuesday as the Heritage High softball team beat AB Miller 14-0 in a game shortened to five innings by the mercy rule.

Abbiegail Barron also homered for the Patriots, who pounded out 15 hits and improved their season record to 5-8. Skinner struck out four in two innings of work and Vasquez struck out five in three innings. Marilu Menez went 2 for 3 with 3 RBIs.

Heritage led 9-0 after two innings.
