City sponsors Wildlife Appreciation Day celebration

The public is invited to a free event Saturday in which the City of Menifee will celebrate Wildlife Appreciation Day with a special program at Central Park, 30208 Civic Plaza Drive.

Several species of wildlife will be available for viewing, and Menifee park rangers will be on hand to answer questions. Habitat restoration will be a topic of discussion of conservation specialists, and there will be food and live entertainment.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
