MENIFEE – The City of Menifee is ready to celebrate spring with three exciting, family-oriented events for everyone to enjoy.
Multicultural Festival: The City of Menifee is excited to welcome the community to join us at the 4th annual Multicultural Festival. This unique festival will showcase a wide variety of cultural traditions, cuisine, entertainment, and art and crafts from around the world. This event will take place at Menifee’s own Central Park (30268 Civic Plaza Dr.) on Saturday, March 25 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This festival is free and open to the public.
Spring Fest & Grand Opening of Remington Park: The City of Menifee’s annual Spring Fest will be hosted on Saturday, April 1 from 9 a.m. to noon at Menifee’s newest park, Remington Park (27101 Junipero Rd.). Spring Fest offers a variety of age-appropriate activities including egg hunts, bounce houses, and games. Attendees can enjoy delicious foods and music. This festival is free and open to the public. Event parking will be located at Boulder Ridge Elementary School Parking Lot (27327 Junipero Rd.)
The egg hunts are currently scheduled for the following times (subject to change):
0-3 years: 9 a.m. & 10:30 a.m.
4-6 years: 9:15 a.m. & 10:45 a.m.
7-9 years: 9:30 a.m. & 11 a.m.
10-12 years: 9:45 a.m. & 11:15 a.m.
Inclusive: 11:30 a.m.
In addition to the spring festivities, there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Remington Park at 10 a.m. This western-themed park features an all-inclusive playground, pickleball courts, workout equipment, cornhole boards, grassy fields, and two picnic shelters with plenty of seating for relaxation.
This year’s event sponsors include Lennar, Meathead Movers, and Cynthia Nemelka.
Menifee Better Together & Earth Day: The City’s annual Menifee Better Together & Earth Day event will be hosted at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (29725 Bradley Rd.) on Saturday, April 22 from 7 a.m. to noon. This event gives residents and volunteers the opportunity to come together to help beautify Menifee. Join us as we celebrate 11 years of Menifee Better Together.
Volunteers are needed for Menifee Better Together as it is essential to the success of the community projects. If you would like to participate in Menifee Better Together, pre-registration is required by visiting www.cityofmenifee.us/MBTvolunteer.
Community projects planned for Menifee Better Together include:
-- Habitat for Humanity: Senior Home revitalization (to be considered for a senior home revitalization, applications are available at the Menifee Valley Community Cupboard, 26808 Cherry Hills Blvd.)
-- Flowerpot Creation Activity
-- Planting Native Plants with Park Rangers
-- Replanting Trees Project
-- COVID-19 Memorial Garden Rock Painting
-- Quail Valley Clean-up: Bulky Item Drop-Off at Kabian Park (28001 Kabian Park Rd.).
