MUSD school resource fair assists parents, students

MENIFEE -- A highly successful Resource and Enrollment Fair was held on Jan. 28 at the Bob O’Donnell Education Center, where families gathered to enroll their children in school and access critical resources for their educational success.

Nearly 20 organizations were present at the event, providing families with a wide range of information and resources to help support their children's education. From academic resources to community programs, attendees had the opportunity to connect with organizations that could help them on their journey. Walking through the fair, families could find opportunities for mental health services, basic health services, teeth cleanings, reading programs and materials, and more. Thanks to the generosity of Menifee Bicycles and others, four attendees went home with a brand-new bicycle.

"The Resource and Enrollment Fair was an outstanding success, and we are proud to have played a role in bringing families and organizations together to support student success," said Board Trustee Bob O’Donnell. "The turnout exceeded our expectations, and it was inspiring to see so many families come together to invest in their children's education."

The event was designed to make the enrollment process as easy and convenient as possible for families. With a wide variety of resources and services available, attendees had the opportunity to receive comprehensive support and guidance throughout the enrollment process.

"One of our goals in Menifee Union School District is to connect our families with helpful community resources for their children. The incredible work of our staff in hosting this event provided the critical connections that we are striving to make," shared Superintendent Jennifer Root.

The Menifee Union School District community is committed to supporting student success, and the Resource and Enrollment Fair was a testament to that commitment. With the growing population of our district and city, events such as this fair are critical to supporting our students’ success and thriving.
