Tournament championship improves Liberty to 8-0

The Liberty High boys basketball team is on a roll, capped off by its championship victory Saturday in the Woodcrest Christian Tournament.

The Bison improved their overall record to 8-0 with a 74-61 win over host Woodcrest Christian. Previously in the tournament, they won by scores of 73-43 (Jurupa Valley) and 76-60 (Elsinore).

Liberty will be at home Thursday for a 7 p.m. game against Temescal Canyon.
