Paloma wrestlers prepare for Servite with big victory

The highly-ranked Paloma Valley High wrestling team will be at home for a 7 p.m. dual meet against Servite on Tuesday – and the Wildcats go into the meet with a lot of momentum.

It was all Paloma Valley on Thursday in a 75-3 victory over Vista Murrieta. The following Wildcat wrestlers won by fall:

Darius Corcuera (106); Jake Barnes (132); Matthew Gudino (138); Jose Jimenez (145); Aiden Platte (160); Javon Major (170); Daniel Diaz (182); Damien Garneri (220).

Winning by technical fall were Syruss Flores (120); Justin Brown (126); Elijah Benavidez (152). Ben Sohrab (195) won by decision.
