The Heritage FFA held their 15th Annual Canned Food Drive Nov. 29 through Dec. 1 at Heritage High School. Hundreds of FFA students donated thousands of canned and packaged food items to assist local families with items for their dinner tables for the holidays.

These items were sent to the Menifee Valley Community Cupboard and delivered by Linda Kirshner, the Heritage FFA lead volunteer, as well as Amanda Wilcox, who received them for the Nuevo Lions Club.

This event is publicized weeks in advance so students may compile the items for themselves as well as going out into the community and soliciting donations. The Heritage FFA is always looking for additional support in the activities we do for the students and our community. If you are interested in assisting, please contact Chris.Maddalena@puhsd.org.
