Menifee Extra 12U team is headed for playoffs

The Menifee AYSO Extra 12U boys soccer team is putting together an impressive season with a playoff berth already assured for January.

The team has a record of 8-1-4 and is in second place in Region 820, with a chance to overtake Claremont for the lead on Saturday. Their 46 goals scored is the most in the division and their 21 goals against is the second least in the division.

In their most recent game, the team beat French Valley. 7-0.

Extra is the highest level of competitive soccer in the region, and the Menifee team is together for the first year.
