Paloma Valley High will be at home Friday at 7 p.m. for its second-round football playoff game, CIF officials announced on Saturday.

The Wildcats will play host to Golden Valley High of Santa Clarita. The Grizzlies improved their record to 7-2 on Friday with a 28-14 victory over Summit.

Paloma Valley rallied from a 17-0 deficit to win its Division 7 playoff opener at Palm Springs on Friday, 28-24. The Wildcats defense held the Indians without a first down in their last two possessions to preserve the victory.

Stephen Gallegos ran for 148 yards and 3 touchdowns and Brady Nelson passed for 162 yards and a score for the Wildcats, who are 9-2 overall.
