Much of County's election results are yet to be counted

Only partial local election results were released Tuesday night by the Riverside County Registrar’s Office, which announced that the next update won’t be until Wednesday night.

“Election Night vote counting is complete, but results are not final,” the message reads on voteinfo.net. “Approximately 325,000 Vote-by-Mail and 10,000 Provisional ballots still must be processed. Work on those begins Wednesday morning. Ballots that are postmarked on or before Election Day also remain to be counted. The next updated results will be posted at 6 p.m. on Wednesday 11/9."

The only results posted on the Menifee City Council District 2 election race shows Ricky Estrada leading with 40 votes, followed by Ben Diederich with 22, Altie Holcomb with 9 and Angel Nevin with 6. No update has been given since 8:50 p.m. on Wednesday.

In the race for the Menifee Union School District board race, Dennis Regus leads incumbent Kyle Root by one vote. 80-79. In the Romoland School District board race, Cynthia Navarrro leads with 156 votes to Mary Wiegmann’s 84.

In the race for the Perris Union High School District board seat, Steve Campos leads with 702 votes to Randall Freeman’s 491.
