Estrada continues to lead Menifee City Council race

Ricky Estrada continues to lead the race for the Menifee City Council District 2 seat as more election results were released Thursday morning.

Estrada has received 778 votes, most among four candidates, with more results expected to be released Thursday night. Ben Diederich, Menifee Planning Commissioner, has 437 votes, followed by Altie Holcomb with 206 and Angel Nevin with 204.

Kyle Root leads the race for the Menifee Union School District TA3 seat with 704 votes. Dennis Regus trails with 636. In the race for the Romoland School District board seat, Cynthia Navarro leads Mary Wiegmann, 277-154.

In the race for the Perris Union High School District TA1 board seat, Steve Campos leads with 1,763 votes, followed by Randall Freeman with 1,116.
