Cathy Growcock honored by Council as Citizen of Month

Cathy Growcock is honored by Mayor Pro Tem Dean Deines at the City Council meeting.

Longtime Menifee resident Cathy Growcock was honored by the Menifee City Council this week as Citizen of the Month.

Growcock, who has lived in the area for more than 20 years, is a resident of the Bel Air Estates Mobile Home Park. She is an advocate for the residents and a resource for those who need help. Recently, she contacted Habitat for Humanity and arranged house painting for those who couldn’t afford it.

She also works as a liaison between residents and management as a member of the Golden State Mobile Home Association. Growcock received a commendation from council members at their Nov. 16 meeting.
