Congressman Ken Calvert is running for re-election in the newly drawn 41st Congressional District, which includes Menifee.
In 2022, Calvert secured $5 million in federal funding for the City of Menifee to construct a bridge at the Bradley Road crossing with Salt Creek to address flooding and enhance access and emergency services throughout the city.
“Ken Calvert has delivered for Menifee and Riverside County time and time again,” said Menifee Mayor Bill Zimmerman. “We are incredibly fortunate to have someone as effective as Ken representing us in Congress.”
Calvert has also helped secure federal funding for local water infrastructure projects, including $2.5 million to facilitate the ongoing conversion in Quail Valley from failing septic systems to the public sewer system.
Calvert is endorsed by the Menifee Police Officers’ Association and every local law enforcement organization in the 41st Congressional District. Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco and Riverside County District Attorney Mike Hestrin have also endorsed Ken Calvert for Congress.
During his current term, Calvert has voted to curb inflation by opposing trillions in wasteful spending that has sent gas and grocery prices soaring. In 2017, Calvert voted to lower taxes for middle class families, including doubling the child tax credit. He has voted for policies to increase American energy production to help lower gas and energy costs.
In August, Calvert was endorsed by the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association PAC, an organization dedicated to protecting Prop. 13.
“Now, more than ever, California taxpayers need protection from radical tax-and-spend liberals,” said Calvert. “I’m proud to earn the endorsement of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association PAC and stand together with tax defenders.”
Last month, Calvert was endorsed by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
“A lifelong resident of Corona, Congressman Calvert has a strong record of leading and delivering results for the constituents and businesses of Southern California,” said U.S. Chamber of Commerce Western Region Vice President Jennings Imel. “Rep. Calvert understands the challenges and economic needs facing the workforce and families in California. His commitment to free enterprise solutions and pro-growth policies that will move our nation forward have earned him the endorsement of the U.S. Chamber. We are proud to support Representative Calvert in his re-election.”
