Paloma Valley High battled back from a 2-1 deficit in sets to win the final two sets and take a 3-2 victory over visiting Elsinore Tuesday in an Ivy League girls volleyball match.
The Wildcats won the first set 25-20 before losing the next two, 23-25 and 16-25. They came back to win the fourth set 25-23 and took the decisive fifth set, 15-9.
Alexa Rosales led the Wildcats with 19 kills and 15 digs. Ashley Stoyer finished with 5 aces, 8 digs and 38 assists. Mia Rosa contributed 9 kills and Kamryn Anderson had 8.
Paloma Valley is 9-9 this season. The Wildcats play host to Hemet Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
