The offense dominated throughout and the defense scored a shutout Monday night as Santa Rosa Academy defeated CMI 24-0 in a football game rescheduled from Friday night.
The win improves the Rangers’ record to a perfect 4-0 heading into their Homecoming game Saturday at 7 p.m. against California City.
The second touchdown was scored by wide receiver Tyler Baxter on a pass from quarterback Justin York. It was set up by Brody Worthington’s interception of a CMI pass on fourth down and came with just 1.7 seconds left in the first half.
The final touchdown was scored on a run by Maverick Grant. All three scores were followed by two-point conversions.
