Crime report includes 17 thefts from vehicle in July

The Menifee Police Department reported 78 crimes against property in July, including 17 thefts from vehicle and eight motor vehicle thefts.

The public safety report was given to the Menifee City Council at its meeting on Wednesday. Also reported were 16 incidents of larceny theft.

There were 56 felony arrests in July and 546 traffic citations were given.
