The Santa Rosa High School football team will try to improve its record to 3-0 Saturday at Temecula Prep after opening the season with two big victories.
The Rangers’ most recent win was a 54-12 home victory over Nuview Bridge last Friday. The star of the game was quarterback Justin York, who completed 9 of 14 passes for 182 yards and 2 touchdowns and rushed for 102 yards and 5 TDs.
Adding to the victory was Maverick Grant, who caught 3 passes for 71 yards and 2 touchdowns. Century Castle carried 6 times for 109 yards. The Rangers compiled 434 yards total offense.
Saturday’s game starts at 6 p.m.
