'Bridging the Divide' group meets at library

Here's a special invitation from the community group Bridging the Divide:

Bridging the Divide meets the second Monday of each month from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Menifee library, 28798 La Piedra Road. Guests are invited to come share some snacks and get to know one another as Menifee neighbors. You will have the opportunity to sit down with people from all political persuasions, work and educational experiences, and racial/ethnic backgrounds, and share beliefs as well as listen – without arguing.

Learn what you can do to reduce conflict and ill will in your corner of the world. We are working to renew trust in the power of ordinary people to make a difference. There is no hidden agenda; we discuss and listen. The next meeting is this Monday, Aug. 8.
