The public is invited to pay tribute to those who have given the ultimate sacrifice in service of their country at the City of Menifee’s Memorial Day Ceremony.
The event will begin at 10 a.m. May 30 at Central Park, 30268 Civic Plaza Drive. The location has been moved from the Veterans Memorial this year because of construction taking place at Wheatfield Park.
The ceremony is free to the public and will include presentations, guest speakers and a wreath laying. Attendees will be given flowers to place around the memorial wreath.
“Our City is proud to recognize the military veterans who gave their lives in defense of our nation and our freedom,” said Mayor Pro Tem Dean Deines. “Their service and their sacrifice will never be forgotten.”
Families may honor military veterans and active duty service members by purchasing a military banner, memorial brick, or adding a fallen soldier’s name to the Menifee Veterans Memorial. For details, click the link here.

Funny I thought we had a very nice Memorial park by Wheatfield park. Is this not what that park is for - Memorial Day Services? Very confusing.
