The Menifee City Council this week presented the Senior Advisory Committee with a proclamation recognizing May as Older Americans Month. Committee chair Gloria Sanchez accepted the proclamation. The council also recognized 98-year-old World War II veteran Bill Cormier, who recently was presented his high school diploma after 80 years.
