The suspect in the robbery of a Menifee restaurant and multiple other robberies in the Southland was taken into custody without incident.
Sean Harris, 34, of Fallbrook was taken into custody on April 9, the Menifee Police Department announced today. One of the armed robberies he is accused of occurred on March 16 at the Pieology restaurant in the 30000 block of Haun Road. The suspect entered the business, wearing dark clothing, and demanded cash from employees at gunpoint. The suspect fled the business toward Haun Road with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was harmed during the commission of the robbery.
At the time of the initial investigation, there were minimal leads to help with identifying the suspect. Over the course of a few weeks, Detectives from the Menifee Police Department, Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, and Fontana Police Department coordinated their efforts. Using law enforcement investigative resources, the agencies were able to identify the suspect as Harris.
Harris was found to be on parole for Burglary and was further identified as the suspect in multiple other armed robberies in Riverside County, San Bernardino County, and San Diego County.
