Fabio Conti named Menifee Citizen of Month for April

Local resident and business owner Fabio Conti was honored by the Menifee City Council Wednesday as Citizen of the Month for April.

Conti is the owner of the Mercato Del Sol shopping center, having rebranded the Ralphs shopping center with a new look and new businesses. He also is a board member of the Menifee Valley Chamber of Commerce.

“Fabio is a great business partner for the City,” said council member Matt Liesemeyer, who nominated Conti for the award. “His addition of the Moonlight Marketplace and rebranding of the shopping center is impressive. He really has anchored himself in the city.”

“I came here to bring my business three years ago,” Conti said. “When my wife saw this city, she said, ‘We’re moving here.’ We wanted a safe, good environment for our family. I couldn’t expect any better than we’ve experienced in Menifee.”
