Santa Rosa Academy will be the host site and one of its players will participate in the Desert Valley All-Star Basketball Game on March 26.

Jeff Sims (left), who averaged 13.5 points and 2.9 steals per game, will represent the Rangers in the Seniors game, which is the third game of a tripleheader featuring all-star boys basketball players from Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

Coaches for the Seniors game will be Carlos Castillo of Norco and Brad Smith of Chaparral. The Seniors game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.

Preceding the feature game is an all-star game of juniors, beginning at 6 p.m.

The coach of one of the teams in the 5 p.m. frosh-soph game will be Adrian Contreras of Heritage. His brother, sophomore Aaron Contreras, is a member of the team.

Admission price is $15 for adults and $10 for students.
