Tony Reverditto honored as Menifee Citizen of the Month

Ton Reverditto (second from right) was honored on Wednesday as Menifee's Citizen of the Month.

Tony Reverditto, an active volunteer in the Sun City community, was honored Wednesday by the Menifee City Council as Citizen of the Month.

A 3 ½-year resident of Menifee, Reverditto serves as president of the Sun City Coordinating Council. He has been instrumental in keeping the council active and on target through the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Tony saw an opportunity and decided he was going to assert himself in the community,” said Mayor Bill Zimmerman in presenting the award. “The Sun City Coordinating Council is vibrant again, and he’s a lot of the reason for that.”

Reverditto thanked the many residents who came to support him, saying, “So many people are so worthy; there are a lot of silent heroes here.”
