Whether you are a parent looking to protect your family’s future with estate planning (wills and trusts), an individual or business needing to protect your ideas, branding, or artistic creations, or an ongoing business or startup seeking recurring legal advice and intellectual property management (patents, trademarks, and copyrights), registered patent attorney Benjamin Diederich is here to protect you, your loved ones, and everything you have built.
Ben understands the importance of your time, and that is why he starts all new clients with one of our unique working meetings, either a Family Legacy Protector Session or a Business Protector Audit, to make sure you are fully educated and know what the right next step for you may be. Ben is happy to offer complimentary 15-minute phone calls to see whether we are a good fit for you and your needs before moving forward. Ben also understands the importance of your resources, and that is why he offers almost all his services on a flat-fee basis, so you are never surprised with a bill.
Ben grew up off Bundy Canyon Road and attended the Menifee campus of MSJC before transferring to UC San Diego to obtain his bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology. He then became a registered patent agent in 2003 and began law school at USC. He has been an attorney since 2006 and has patent and trademark clients around the country – and the world.
In 2015 he and his wife decided to move back to Menifee to raise their family, and he relocated his practice to Menifee as well. While Ben still enjoys serving his clients worldwide, his passion is helping local families plan for their future with tailored estate planning, whether that may be a will-based plan or a trust-based plan, depending on each family’s unique situation.
Since moving back, Ben has dedicated his free time to Menifee, having served on the Board of the Menifee Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Santa Rosa Academy School Board, and currently as a Planning Commissioner for the City since 2019.
