Seniors Marcus McCray, Dylan Steenhoek, Jeff Sims, Max Steward, Lee Goode, and Elias Fox all played great games in their final game of the regular season Thursday night as Santa Rosa Academy’s boys basketball team defeated San Jacinto Valley Academy, 76-16.
In front of our largest and loudest crowd this year, family, friends and classmates helped to make it a memorable night. After picking up a forfeit win on Friday, the Rangers finished the South Valley League season 10-0 with a 20-6 overall record..The league championship was the second straight for Santa Rosa.
Having won 11 consecutive games, the Rangers have recorded the most wins and the fewest losses in any varsity season. They will learn about their first-round CIF playoff match when the brackets are announced on Tuesday.
